Stunning City Centre apartment

This incredible apartment is our newest accommodation. In 2021, the apartment underwent an extensive 5 month high level renovation. The apartment is unique in that it has stunning LED lighting throughout that is controlled by wall control panels. These lights can change colours (if desired) and can be dimmed to any level of light required. The apartment has a beautiful Wet Room. Inside the Wet Room and in the main living area is two high quality ceiling bluetooth audio speakers. Guests can pair up their music on their phones to the audio speakers for fantastic sound quality. 1GB ultra fast Hyperoptic Broadband WiFi is installed in the apartment. Complementary Netflix is on both the living room TV and the master bedroom TV. No expense has been spared in this apartment. It has beautiful bespoke Artwork throughout and stunning blue oxide wood wall panelling in both bedrooms. The apartment being a Duplex has a beautiful Spiral staircase leading upstairs. This apartment really has the wow factor and the attention to detail has been meticulous so guests can have an amazing experience when they come to stay at this property.

Access to the property is via the secure entry door system with security codes and keyfob entry system. Lift access is available from 3 entry doors on Dunlop Street. A concierge service is also available weekdays from 8am until 6pm and 24 hour CCTV monitoring.

The apartment is well serviced with public transport and by the motorway network. With Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations only a 10 minute walk, there are also two underground stations (St. Enoch and Argyle Street) close by and direct access to the main bus routes through the City Centre. The Apartment can also be accessed easily from the M8, M77 and M74 extension; and both Glasgow and Prestwick Airports are easily accessible.

A personal meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown to the property. If you have a car with you, you will be shown into the underground car parking also and to your designated parking space.

Entry to the apartment is from 15:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 22:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 40 pounds for unsociable hours. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 15:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting us as we will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed.

The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded on the day of departure.

The apartment is strictly non-smoking, and we do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

Please arrange your arrival with us at least 24 hours before arrival.

Check in is from 3pm, and check out is before 11am.

Please note, if you require the sofa bed to be made up and have not booked for the maximum number of guests, there will be an additional charge.

Apartment description

This modern, spacious Duplex apartment with secure underground car parking is located in the heart of the city centre. Located just behind the St. Enoch Shopping Centre and Buchanan Street, Glasgow’s premier shopping district, the apartment is only a 10 minute walk from the Merchant City and many of the finest restaurants and bars in Glasgow.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor of the Metropole building. There is lift access throughout the building from the basement -1 level right up to the 3rd floor.

The apartment offers a spacious living/dining room/kitchen with patio doors leading onto the balcony, which has panoramic views overlooking the City and the River Clyde and many of the finest architectural buildings in the city. The lounge and dining area has two sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed), along with a dining table and six chairs. There is a flat screen TV on the wall which has lots of freeview channels for your viewing. Netflix is provided complimentary.

We have stayed in many apartments but this is definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed in. The apartment was beautiful, very clean and modern, it had everything we needed to feel at home. It’s a 2 floor apartment with 2 modern bathrooms, with the main bathroom having a luxurious walk in shower! There were 2 bedrooms upstairs which were very comfortable. Fresh towels / pillows were also available. One of the bedrooms overlooked the dining area below creating a lovely open plan feel to the place. Kitchen was fully equipped and had everything you needed to cook / prepare meals. It was an easy walk to the shops and a Tesco, which was handy. Communication was great. Craig was so warm and friendly right from the moment we booked the apartment. He met us on arrival and showed us around. The apartment has underground car parking too, which is another plus point!
